Do you live the Neighborhood Connection mission to support and empower your neighbors? Show us how and display your creativity by answering the question “Why is empowering your community important?”

To be eligible, applicants should:

1. 1. Reside within the Waunakee Community School District.
   2. Be a high school senior graduating during the Spring of 2025 who meets the criteria listed below and who will be attending/accepted to a two- or four-year accredited college, technical school, university or other post-secondary training program; OR 
   3. Be a current college student or non-traditional adult student who meets the criteria and is currently enrolled in or accepted into an accredited college, technical school or university and been enrolled in at least 6 credit hours. 

* Applicants cannot be related to a member of the staff or board of directors of Waunakee Neighborhood Connection.

To apply:

1. 1. Complete the application below.
   2. Include a resume with work experience, any community, club and/or athletic involvement and accomplishments.
   3. Submit an essay answering the question “Why is empowering your community important?” This can be a written essay of 500-1500 words, a 3-minute video or recorded presentation (PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc.). Express yourself and be creative!
   4. Include two (2) letters of recommendation from a teacher, administrator, employer or community service supervisor. *All letters must be from individuals not related to the applicant.
